![]() EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (EFT) What is the theory of EFT? EFT is a therapeutic approach to discharging excess emotional distress and liberating one's capacity for growth and joy. It is a process that has its roots in both ancient Chinese medicine and the modern science of Applied Kinesiology. These techniques are gentle, rapid and startlingly effective. Life long phobias, compulsive behaviors and limiting belief patterns can be easily eliminated. Many issues which previously may have taken months or years of work with traditional approaches, can be worked through rapidly and effectively. It was developed in America, by Gary Craig in the early 1990s, from psychologist Dr Roger Callahan's 'Thought Field Therapy' and is now widely used throughout the world.
